Chemical Production

The on-site production of a great variety of chemicals for the imaging industry, allowed Agfa to build a vast experience in different fields of chemistry. Due to significant investments, Agfa has established a state-of-the-art chemical plant that allows us to handle chemistry in the safest and most efficient way and with the utmost respect for the environment.

Reactors:
70 vessels (glass lined, stainless steel, hastelloy C22) with a total capacity of 70 m3
3 pressure reactors up to 100 bar
3 distillation reactors (temperature range 25°C-280°C)

Filtration equipment:
7 centrifuges
6 pressure filters (100 l -> 4000 l)

Drying equipment:
4 Conical vacuum driers (100 l -> 3000 l)
5 Filter driers (100 l -> 4000 l)
